Fried potato are usually called　French fries in the United States. However, it is different in other countries.

Itis called "chips" in Britain.

and,it is called "frite" in France.

It is called "pommes frites" in Germany.

It is called "Flit" in Belgium.

It is called "Fried potato" in Japanese.

But,The potato that is floured once and deep-fried is called "Rasupoteto" in the Netherlands.

I think that there are a lot of people who make a mistake in the birthplace by the name.

However, it is not France.

An actual birthplace is Belgium.

However, there are two reasons in which it a wrong reason.

Because they speak French Therefore, it made a mistake as the French.

and,They emigrated United states.
