Chousokabe Motochika

   The present master of the house of Chousokabe in Tosa (Tosa is situatede at Shikoku.) When he was young, he was called “Himewako” by his subjects. It was because; he has a fair skin and was weak on his childhood. Although, he grew up and became the present master, he was strong and wise, so he was called “Wako and Good man.” Oda nobunaga said “ Motochika is like a bat on island which has no bird.”

     He was called “Shoujumaru” when he was a child.He achieved one of the Japanese feudal lords of the Warring State Period.
     His house is a common Japanese feudal lord before he succeeded to the patrimony. He rose from obscurity to renown by his tactics as soon as he became the present master of the house. His tactic is fair and he won a lot of wars by stratagems, so he was famous for strategist now.He won a lot of wars which overstep 200, but he wasn’t noticeable.
