Date Masamune

    He was the present master of the house of Date and he became first present master of the Sendai Clan.In Japan, when people celebrated their coming of age, they got or decided their new name. Masamune was called “Bontenmaru” on childhood.

    In childhood, he caught smallpox and he had hangover from the smallpox which is to lose his right eye. From then on, he called by people “Dokugannryu” and the name derive from a Chinese famous warrior.
He had patrimony from his father in 1584 and he is 19 years old. 
   
    When he was a young man, he was poisoned food by his mother who thought he is a obstacle and she wanted for him to become the present master of the house of Date.

     He liked gorgeous clothes, but this was said a policy about guard for Toyotomi government.

Katakura Kojurou

Birth 155

    He who was a liege of Date Masamune was at his right hand. His name was decided by succession because of the house of Katakura took over the name “Kojuurou” from the former present master of the house for generations.
    Katakura was very wise and smart, so he was called “Katakura of wisdom” for example, when Masamune was surrounded by enemies, he said, “I’m Masamune!!” He drawn enemies and set Masamune free.
