●A population of Christchurch is 338,800 people.  (In 2003)　
●New Zealand is located on the East Coast of the South Island, New Zealand.

●Christchurch has warm summer and cool to cold winters.  High temperature in summer is typically in from 27 to 33 degrees. In　　winter temperature is from 2 to 12 degrees.


●Sightseeing places

First, there is the "Cathedral Square" in the center of the city.  This is the Famous Church.  A lot of tourist visited there.  On the top of the Church, we can see a beautiful piece of scenery.  But we need admission free.  So I have to pay for some money.  It is expensive to enter the church but admission free is worth entering to there.
Second, there is "Canterbury Museum" in near city.  We can know the many things about New Zealand culture and so on.  For example, about inhabitant of Maori, NZ history.  In the Museum, we can watch the Video and put on the headphone to listening to guidance.  We will spend a happy time in there.

●Famous activity

"Jet board" is the most famous in New Zealand.  There are many rivers in New Zealand.  We can ride on this at "Akaloa".  It is very fast and exciting.  While I ride on ski, I am pleasant.  We ride on this about 15 people in a one boat.  It is very fun!
"Rugby" is also very popular in New Zealand.  Sometimes rugby games take place in near Christchurch.  Many people painting on their face for support teams.  If we support that team, it will win the games!  So please go there and have a good time!  Let's enjoy your time.

This name is "kiwi".  It is a nocturnal animal. It has a sharp nose and very alert it in movements.
There are many sheep in New Zealand.  Many people always sharing sheep to make many things.  For example, scarf, sweater and  cushion.  There are many cute animal and very smart animals.
