Dragons are called ryu
or tatsu in Japan. Japanese
dragons are regarded as a kind of the god of water, and they bring rain.
It was believed that a rainbow was seven beautiful male dragons, in old
days.

Form of Japanese dragon resembles a snake. They don't have wings, but
can fly in the sky. They have the precious stone which had special
power, and protect it. They don't vomit flame.
