She was born in Hawaii. And her parents are Australian.

And she moved to Australia when she was 3 years old.

She wanted to be an actress from childhood.

So she began ballet lessons.

When she was 10 years old, she decided that she goes to the world of theater.

By the age of ten, she was studying acting in drama school.

And she appeared in Australian movie Bush Christmas when she was 14 years old.
Her performance was accepted.

After that, she had performed on TV and Movie.

Finally, she appeared in Hollywood Movie in 1989. This movie is Dead Calm. Her performance caught Tom Cruise’s eye.

And they played together in Days of Thunder (1990). Nicole and Tom got married in December of 1990. She has two children. But they got divorced in August of 2001.

She was awarded Golden Globe and the 75th annual Academy Awards by performance of The Hours in 2003.
