Princess Ariel was King Triton’s youngest daughter.

She was a very curious little mermaid…especially when it came to humans.

But her father was always warning her to stay away from the world above the sea.

 One day, there was a terrible storm and a human was thrown the deck of his ship.

Ariel rescued the man, who was named Prince Eric. She instantly fell in love with him.

The evil sea witch, Ursula, wanted to steal King Triton’s power so that she could become queen of the sea. She tried to use Ariel’s love for Eric to get Triton out of her way.

But Prince Eric bravely steered a ship into Ursula and destroyed the giant sea witch for good.

King Triton was proud of Ariel and grateful to Eric for saving his undersea kingdom.

He turned the Little Mermaid into a human and gave them his blessing to marry. They
