"I introduce Korean Food."
It is said that Korean Food is hot. The history of Korean Food is
old. Korean Food is excellent in a nutrition side or the taste. Korean
Food is good for the body. The store of much Korean Food is located also in
Japan. I also visit a Korean food restaurant. I introduce the recipe of
a favorite dish.
Korean food is rich in nutrition, balanced in content, and low in
calories. They say you can eat as much Korean food as you like without
gaining weight! Rice, either plain or mixed with other grains, is the
staple of all Korean meals, and is accompanied by a variety of side dishes.
Soy sauce, soybean paste, red pepper paste, ginger root, and sesame seeds
are the essential seasonings added to Korean food.
When dining, keep in mind that Koreans eat their rice and soup with
a spoon and side dishes with chopsticks. Other common traditions of Asian
dining apply in Korea, such as not spiking your chopsticks into the rice
(this symbolizes that the rice is reserved for the dead) and waiting for
the oldest person to begin a meal before starting yourself.
Kimchi
Bulgogi@
Bulgogi is probably the best-known
and most popular of all Korean foods. In restaurants, it is often prepared
theatrically at the table on a brass or iron shield. However, cooked over
a hibachi barbecue, grilled, or fried in a very hot frying pan, it is always
delicious.
Pajon is a classic: in Seoul city centre
markets, at rest stops high in the mountains, or at popular venues such
as the Korean Folk Village, there will always be somebody on hand, poised
over a hot, well-greased griddle, making these delicious spring onion pancakes
to eat as a snack, or to accompany frothy mugs of carafes of tong dong jug.
And in Korean homes, too, this is something which everybody always loves.
