| Agriculture is the main industry of the town, which is yielding rice, vegetables and fruits. Above all, the production of "Yamadanishiki," an excellent sake rice, is activity promoted. As for the manufacturing industries, such as, fishhooks, "Koinobori"(carp-streamers) and Miyoshi-kago (baskets), each traditional technique has been handed down up to today. |

ìYokawa Summer Festivalî is one of the biggest events, which a lot of people gather for from everywhere. Games, shop, traditional dancing and fireworks at night. Huge flowers spread over the sky. |
