Diamond Head
The picture of Diamond Head Crater is one of the worlds most recognized landmarks
One of Oahu's most popular walks is to the park of Diamond Head
Crater.Upon reaching the summit you will expwrience one of the most
spectacular
views on the island of oahu.
On the clear day, you can see the outline of Molokai in the east.Toward
the center of the island,you will see the Koolau Mountains. The views of
Waikiki
and Honolulu are amazing.
The stick is 5 feet tall and made of wood. The words " I climbed
Diamond Head ." in English are branded on the side, and in Japanese on
the other side.
Two bells attached to the top of the stick help encourage the visitor
onweard and upward. The stick is crowned with the Hawaiian flag.
